What does UT2UF mean?
This is the name (callsign) of an amateur radio station, a kind of nickname, by which you can determine where the station is and who it belongs to. Callsigns have been used since 1927.

What is amateur radio?
Amateur radio (also called ham radio) describes the use of radio frequency spectrum for purposes of non-commercial exchange of messages, wireless experimentation, self-training, private recreation, radiosport, contesting, and emergency communication. The term “amateur” is used to specify “a duly authorised person interested in radioelectric practice with a purely personal aim and without pecuniary interest” (either direct monetary or other similar reward) and to differentiate it from commercial broadcasting, public safety (such as police and fire), or professional two-way radio services (such as maritime, aviation, taxis, etc.).

What is IARU?
Amateur Radio must organize nationally and internationally for better mutual use of the radio spectrum among radio amateurs throughout the world, to develop Amateur Radio worldwide, and to successfully interact with the agencies responsible for regulating and allocating radio frequencies.  National societies throughout the world work together for the international good of Amateur Radio under the auspices of a representative democracy, the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU).

What is UARL?
Ukrainian Amateur Radio League (UARL) was founded on December 21st, 1991 at the foundation conference where the main principals of the organization were established. September 3rd, 1992 UARL was officially acknowledged by Ministry of Justice (License # 286). The UARL is a member-society of the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU).
