as a result of the war, my hamming has taken back seat to survival. Total attention and priority over the past 3 years has been to locate a safe environment for my twin sons, now age 14. Once a sponsor can be found in a friendly nation, I eagerly await my opportunity to again be an active participant in ham radio. For now, I have run out of ideas to seek that sponsorship, so please bear with me as I must put my focus on my family. I turn to you, my ham radio family for assistance at this time of dire need. If you know of an avenue I may pursue for gaining a new start for my family, I will be very happy and grateful. My small family of three (me a single dad and my two 14-year-old sons) are looking for sponsors in UK the Homes for Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme for temporary accommodation during the war. I have to protect my children.
Why did we choose UK? My kids lived in Stourport-on-Severn (nr Birmingham) for about two years, went to school, made friends with whom they communicate constantly now.
I would be very grateful if someone could give us shelter. We are friendly and decent family. We are ready to live in any location in UK. The boys are healthy, active with good spoken English. My level of spoken English is somewhat worse than my kids. I will need some time in terms of adaptation then I plan to work.
